Nope! A Tarot Deck is just 78 pieces of paper with pictures on them. That’s it. There’s nothing evil about the tarot. It’s no more harmful that looking at a painting. You and the reader are who assign meaning to the images and the reading itself.

We’ve all seen the movies where the Tarot Reader pulls the death card, everyone goes silent and freaks out, and the next scene someone dies.
That makes for great horror movies but isn’t how tarot works at all!
The death card doesn’t mean you or someone will die. The Death Card represents the cycles of life. When it comes up in a reading it means that something in your life is ending or needs to end for something new and better to begin. It’s about rebirth not actual death. Whew!

Tarot Readings can be many things for people. The way I read for clients is to empower you, get you answers and a plan.
I may get psychic hits during a reading but I don’t do predictive type readings that tell the future.
Can readings be predictive? Yes. But it’s never ever set in stone. It’s more that these are the possibilities about what could happen but you have free will and your own agency to make choices that will always affect your future.
A reading should give you a path and a plan with choices that you can make to get the outcome you’d like.
If a reader ever tells you something is guaranteed to happen I’d be very skeptical. No one can predict the future with that much accuracy.
